Masks: Hen & Goat II + Cat

Since it has been decided that the role of the nurse will be replaced by 2 friends instead (more close to modern reality), so the goat has been changed into a cat instead. However the goat has also been improved on, since at the Sept 13th rehearsal, there was a male actor who needed to be allocated a mask.







Aesthetic: Goat could have been used for the other friend alluding to being a "wise friend". However since it was originally designed to be worn by a male, it covers majority of the face which contradicts Lucas' intention to have female faces more exposed.

Symbolism of Cats: companionship, selective, understanding, secretive, true-hearted. These are valued attributes of a friend; and reflects that of domestic pet cats. This feline selection also matches Tybault's lion mask (being on the "same side" as cats/Capulets).
